The Student Volunteer Service Program (Internship) provides unpaid academic-related work assignments which allow students to explore career options as well as develop personal and professional skills.
To be considered you must:

Be a U.S. Citizen

Be enrolled or accepted for enrollment during the upcoming semester or quarter as a
certificate/degree seeking student in an educational institution that is accredited by a
recognized accrediting body

Receive college credit for the internship

Obtain an agreement from the institution to participate

Maintain a satisfactory academic record of a 2.5 or better cumulative grade point average
-
Complete an minimum of 120 hours of service during the selected semester

Students may be appointed based on the results of a background investigation.

Resume, OF 306 - Declaration for Federal Employment and a college transcript.

Include a cover letter indicating semester of preference for the internship.
