The Student Volunteer Service Program (Internship) provides unpaid academic-related work assignments which allow students to explore career options as well as develop personal and professional skills.

 

To be considered you must:

  • Be a U.S. Citizen

  • Be enrolled or accepted for enrollment during the upcoming semester or quarter as a

      certificate/degree seeking student in an educational institution that is accredited by a

      recognized accrediting body

  • Receive college credit for the internship

  • Obtain an agreement from the institution to participate

  • Maintain a satisfactory academic record of a 2.5 or better cumulative grade point average

  • Complete an minimum of 120 hours of service during the selected semester

  • Students may be appointed based on the results of a background investigation.

 

How to Apply

To apply to our internships please submit the following:

  • Resume, OF 306 - Declaration for Federal Employment and a college transcript.

  • Include a cover letter indicating semester of preference for the internship.
